Cartography of Aerial Violations

In this project, we uncovered and analyzed data detailing Israeli aerial violations into Lebanese airspace from 2007 to 2022. The data, sourced from UN records and organized in Excel, provided a comprehensive account of these incursions. We decided to translate this data into a cartography that maps the frequency and location of these violations and inadvertently visualizes the political landscape of Lebanon. By doing so, we’ve transformed raw data into a visual tool that highlights the ongoing breaches of Lebanese sovereignty, offering a new perspective on the geopolitical tensions in the region.
