BIOGRAPHY

Ahmad Baydoun is an OSINT researcher and architect whose work investigates how environments are weaponized and transformed into instruments of control and violence. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the Technical University of Delft, titled "Weaponized Environments," which examines the strategic manipulation of natural and built landscapes in modern warfare.

His research practice combines geolocation, chronolocation, satellite imagery analysis, and pattern recognition to document violence and territorial control. He often works with minimal or degraded visual evidence, reconstructing attacks and environmental transformations in spaces where on-the-ground access is impossible. Beyond academic research, he collaborates with human rights organizations and newsrooms on open-source investigations, damage assessments, and visual reconstructions of conflict zones.
